2. Choose one program (do not attempt all three)

. Choose one program (do not attempt all three)

Twelve to fifteen hours in a single auditorium is the realistic ceiling. Each option below is a separate event; run the strongest one first and treat the others as a series.

Option A — Shyamalan Day

Chronological, thematically legible, and the least complicated only if you keep to one studio's holdings. The problem is his filmography is split across three studios (see rights map below), which means three separate licensing negotiations. A "Universal Shyamalan" block (The Visit, Split, Glass, Old, Knock at the Cabin, Trap) is a single conversation and a far easier yes.

Option B — Blumhouse Horror Marathon

The trap here is that the "Blumhouse" brand does not equal a single rights holder. Sinister is Lionsgate. Insidious is Sony. The Purge and Paranormal Activity-era titles sit with Universal and Paramount. Blumhouse itself cannot license these to you. A "Blumhouse night" therefore means 3–4 parallel licensing threads, each with its own minimum guarantee. Highest audience appeal, highest administrative cost.

Option C — Hammer Horror: The 1970s

This is the option I'd recommend leading with. The bulk of the Hammer catalogue — around 200 titles — is under global distribution and marketing control at Studiocanal (Screen Daily, Variety), and Park Circus handles theatrical and non-theatrical licensing for the Hammer library (Screen Daily). One agency, one contract, one combined DCP shipment. Park Circus has done multi-title season deals with a single drive containing all titles at a reduced per-title MG (BFI FAN tour document). US correction (verified October 2026): in the United States, Studiocanal's Hammer titles are booked through Rialto Pictures, Studiocanal's US theatrical representative — not Park Circus. See Section 3A for the verified slate and contacts.

Recommended slate: see Section 3A below. Titles such as The Vampire Lovers, Twins of Evil, and Captain Kronos are controlled by other US rights holders and need separate inquiries.
